Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I grind my own coffee. It satisfied my morning OCD. I always buy my coffee from Union Place Coffee Roasters. They import beans from growers all over the world. My current fave is Sumatra Mandheling. It is SO wonderful. But I know I will eventually have to buy something else, and they will have something I will like. They are local. They support other local businesses and artists. The people are pleasant and helpful. Go there. Buy coffee.

I have been in Henrietta 18 years. Just found this this coffee shop. It's in the Regional Market. How did I not know it was here? I had just bought a coffee with a grinder so I purchased a bag of whole beans elsewhere $$$$. I met a friend who suggested Union place. I walked in and if your a coffee lover WOW!!!!! The smell of fresh roasted beans hits you. Love at first smell. I ended up buying 3 pds of whole beans. I like flavored which they have plenty. The flavor you taste in the first middle and last cups. You won't be disappointed.

Despite the tremendous height of the ceiling, Union Place still manages to feel inviting. The interior is warm, well lit and clean. They have a huge selection of coffee beans, coffee makers, coffee syrups, accessories, honey, teas as well as bakery items. The seating consists of tables/chairs armchairs and a rocking chair. Local art is displayed to purchase. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. If you purchase 16oz of coffee beans then you will get a free 12oz coffee beverage of your choice! Also, there is a rewards card that will get you a free bag of 16 oz beans once you purchase 9 bags. We ordered Guatemalan Coffee, Winter Spiced Latte, Molasses Cookie and Whoopie Pie (both baked items were vegan and absolutely delicious!). Itβs a shame they didnβt have anymore to take out. What was strange for us (after visiting 66 cafes on our travels) was that we had to ask for sugar and a stirrer! Apart from that we loved everything.

I had such a great time at this cafΓ©! Itβs super quiet and clean, and the staff are so friendly and kind β they really make you feel welcome. Their coffee is top-quality, and they even roast and sell their own beans, both ground and whole. Totally recommend this place to anyone who loves good coffee and chill vibes
